VALUES STATEMENT

WokeMade® Global Limited was founded on principles we live by daily. Our values are more than a commitment to those we serve; they are fundamental to every aspect of our business and drive our purpose to empower our customers to promote messages that matter.


OUR CUSTOMERS

We put customers first, recognizing and appreciating them as a constant source of inspiration and guidance. We admire and respect our customers who are evidently passionate, principled people who deliberately sought and bought clothing proudly promoting messages that matter to our collective wellbeing.


SOCIAL MEDIA POLICIES

We actively seek worthwhile feedback and suggested improvements from both our customers, and the public by way of our Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest and TikTok posts.

However we deliberately choose not to engage with or tolerate negative, mean spirited, or vindictive, trolls on any social platform so we block them on principle. We consider WokeMade® trolls to be disruptive, distracting and unwelcome.

We maintain a clear and consistent voice when providing information to the public, including the media, suppliers and analysts about our purpose, and position on serious social and environmental issues.


SUPPLIERS

We aspire to build long lasting relationships with the suppliers we depend on to provide us with the high quality, valued materials, and merchandise, our customers ultimately enjoy. We ensure our requirements are concise, payment prompt, and all communications are timely, respectful, succinct, and responsive. We naturally favor suppliers who exemplify our values and contribute to our purpose.

We also only work with companies who are socially ethical and environmentally responsible.

CODE OF ETHICS

The WokeMade® Code of Ethics, guides our ethical, social, and legal responsibilities to each other, our customers, our suppliers, and the communities we serve. The Code applies to all of us, at every level. It’s intended to assist us in identifying ethical and legal issues that may arise.

WokeMade® welcomes all applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations, including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and compliance.

WokeMade® does not tolerate workplace violence or threats of workplace violence, and our staff are not permitted to possess weapons in our workplace.

RESPONSIBLE ADVERTISING PRACTICES

We are committed to, truthful and tasteful advertising, sales, and marketing practices through all our sales channels, as well as accurate representation of our products, while we ensure full compliance with all relevant laws that promote customer protection.


RESPONSIBLE MARKETING PRACTICES

We’re advocates of Karma; thus we know our customers expect and deserve accurate and honest sales and marketing practices. We base our marketing efforts on quality, distinctiveness, brand recognition, fair pricing and promotional programs, and honest advertising practices. We do not misrepresent merchandise or price attributes, nor do we make false claims about competitors’ offerings.

Prices are stated accurately, and advertisements is always truthful. All our ads accurately describe and illustrate the merchandise WokeMade® Global Limited offers for sale and conforms to all applicable rules and regulations. Our advertisements, packaging, and promotions will never be untrue, misleading, or deceptive.


SHIPPING CARBON EMMISSION OFFSET

When shipping carriers transport goods between locations, the transportation methods release greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide (CO2) into the atmosphere. Shipping is an essential aspect of our businesses, but carbon emissions from shipping negatively impact the planet and contribute to climate change.

So a portion of every single sale, is donated to a carbon offset scheme run by Shopify.com (the platform we run on), to reduce the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere, so that increased greenhouse gases elsewhere have a net impact of 0. For example, a truck might release 1 kg of CO2 in one mile, while actions to preserve a forest remove 1 kg of CO2 from the atmosphere. So we purchase one carbon offset that supports forest preservation for each mile that our transportation trucks travel, then the levels of CO2 in the atmosphere remain the same.
